Zeke tells Levi about the time he transformed the citizens of Ragako into Titans. Levi questions him over this, though Zeke professes that he had acted to avoid suspicion. Yelena tells Pixis about her secret meeting with Eren. She explains that she only wanted Eren to recognize her and made a few requests of him. She claims that her actions had been for Eldia 's sake though Pixis is wholly unconvinced that she is being truthful.
Having the military motto thrown back at them is powerful because in the end the SL are all human, as well. Nuance and smart, definite decisions are needed here. Maybe the big plan is to have the big Titans somehow cross the ocean and wreck havoc on the other side - would that really work considering the ocean being in the way and the uncertainties surrounding the Coordinate power, as it has never been actually tested or used before by Eren and Zeke? Eren would be once again back to staring down his reckless Trost self and the true enemy would be himself as much as the opposing side, as it always has been, to a overwhelming, large-scale degree. What a way to bring everything full circle that would be… and also a equally large test of character. Once again we see the idea of this whole arc being specifically about tests of character and I love that.
